Features
Construction
The combination of a wide range of steel grades and thicknesses in conjunction with a range of concrete strength provides the most economic series of product grades, capable of matching the most demanding requirements.
Understructure
Simple, but structurally effective understructure support systems, with excellent corrosion protection, cover the full range of floor heights.
Adjustment
Pedestal assemblies are designed to provide a wide range of height adjustment.
Size
The standard system module is 600mm x 600mm, with extremely close tolerances to ensure fully interchangeable panels.
Finishes
Standard surface finishes are coated steel for carpet and durable anti-static
high-pressure laminate. |

Benefits
Durability
The inert combination of steel and concrete maximises durability and performance for the widest range of structural and dynamic loads. High factors of safety achieved by Tascor® provides great peace of mind and security.
Meets Standards
The development of Tascor® started with the need to meet and exceed the most rigorous standards and specifications used internationally.
This starting point means that there is a Tascor® grade to meet every standard.
Ongoing research and quality assurance in Tasman’s development laboratory ensures that whatever the application there is a Tascor® System to meet it.
Quiet
Tascor® Panels have the sound and feel of a concrete slab. Tests show measurably superior acoustic performance. |
Structural Range
Panel strength
The choice of Tascor® panels and support systems provide an extensive range of effective strength to suit any application. Concentrated design loads ranging from 3.0kN to 6.0kN cover almost every conceivable requirement.
Safety
Tascor® Access Floor Systems provide a safety factor of three times concentrated design load.
Testing
Full testing facilities are located at the manufacturing plant for Certification and Quality Assurance programs. All testing is conducted on randomly selected standard product.
Floor Heights
Recommended nominal finished floor heights for standard product are:
Unifix® 75mm to 750mm
Stringerless 75mm to 300mm
Stringered 150mm to 900mm |

Technical Data
This chart provides an easy means of selecting the Tascor® Access Floor System to match the static and dynamic performance requirements of your project. Used with the Tasman Specifications on page 12, you will be able to document and specify an access floor system that will provide excellent long term service and performance in the most demanding environment.
Tasman has solutions to most non-standard needs. Please contact your local Tasman Representative.
Testing criteria
Tascor® has been designed and developed in Australia specifically to meet AS 4154-1993 Australian Standard – General Access floors (Elevated Floors). Also meets requirements under PSA PF2 (UK) and C.I.S.C.A. (USA) and EN 12825 (Europe).
#Impact loads are applied by dropping the specified mass from 900mm onto a spreader located centrally over a 25mm square indentor. |

Panel Construction
All panels are specifically manufactured for different load requirements
- Top sheet tensile steel for precise flatness.
- Fully formed steel bottom pan with picture frame deep edges to provide balanced structural characteristics.
- Top sheet and bottom pan fully welded into precision sized interchangeable panels.
- Cementitious structural core material to strengthen and provide acoustic rating and fire resistance.
- All assembled into a high performance composite structural element for extended life.

Understructure Materials
All structural components, stringers, pedestal heads, pedestal bases, nuts are hot-dipped galvanised steel for lifetime protection. Gaskets are extruded or injection moulded positive locating plastic.
