Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC)
 

Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a lightweight concrete. A mixture of finely-ground quartz sand and binding material, permeated with air pores and then steam-cured. The result is an extremely lightweight, insulating building material of a high strength category. SIEM CON AAC is produced by German technology and under Deutsche Industries Norm (DIN).

Physical Properties of AAC SIEM CON       
        The patented manufacturing process ensures that SIEM CON block and panels are always produced true to size as they leave the factory. This results in less on site trimming and reduces the quantities of mortar and finishing materials required.   SIEM CON AAC is one fifth the weight of normal concrete. This results in rapid installation rates using smaller on site cranage with less worker fatigue.
             
     
The entrained air give SIEM CON AAC excellent thermal insulatin properties. This means a harmonious and healty room climate all the time and saves costs for airconditioning system.   SIEM CON AAC can be used as an effective sound barrier to reduce external noise entering a building. It will also considerably reduce noise between rooms and offices.   SIEM CON AAC is inorganic and totally incombustible. The product is particularly suited to fire rated applications such as fire doors and walls, structural steel, ventilation shafts and lift wells.   SIEM CON AAC can be sawn, drilled, worked, and machined using normal wood working tools.
             
       
The product's light weight, easy workability and total building system approach results in the product being more quickly installed compared to conventional building materials.   SIEM CON products do not contain any toxic substances.   SIEM CON AAC is not affected by harsh environmental conditions, it will be remain stable and will not degrade.
